I was thinking of getting some GTP wheels off a mate who might be getting rid of his but I think I'll give it a miss now! lol.

 No spoiler looks crap on XRs and FPVs.

De spoilering is a pet hate of mine, why do you want your car to look even more like a XT?

I know, why not really finish off the taxi look by adding the bootlid taxi advertising signage!

Those doing it do it with little or no thought as to what cars are best suited to the no spoiler look. They seem to do it simply because it's trendy at the moment. The body kits are designed to include a spoiler, removing it just makes the car look asthetically unbalanced.

Cars that need spoilers are:

XRs

SS Dunnydores

FPVs

HSVs

WRXs

EVOs

STIs

I'm also against adding spoilers to cars that don't need them such as:

Most BMWs and Mercs

Fairmont

Calais

Statesman

Passats

200SX (last shape)

:dontknow:

too many other XRs on the road, so the de-spoilered look is something different.. mind you, if you have a bland coloured car then of course it'll look like an XT. If you have a colour that only the XR or FPV range come in, then it'll be different and stand out from the other XRs

I actually think the no spoiler look emphasises the lowness of the rear spoiler. If someone thinks its an XT then good luck to them, especially if they want a little race.

At the moment im enjoying the "sleeper" look of the car. If I ever change my mind the spoiler can go back on easily enough.

Oh and maybe its the current trend over east, but there aren't many who have done it here in Perth so it does stand out still.

I love the no spoiler look.

I went for a bobtail because I couldnt be f*cked getting and xt bonnet and painting it blueprint, and I hated the holes.

However.... if you have a color that's not an xr color, im almost 100% sure that you will find a dealer that will swap you a boot lid of the same color off an xt in the yard for yours and the spoiler.

I asked when I first got mine and they said absolutly..... if only they made xt's in blueprint.
