I've had mine for 8mnths - all good. The ZF I's better suited to the hairdryer on full pump and its great around town. The ZF has a learning curve so it adjusts to your driving patterns. The "perf" mode is dam good, I take my phoon out for track days and to be honest I can use it in perf (auto) or tiptronic (semi-manual) and it makes bugger all difference. Get the big brakes if you like spirited driving, you wont regret it cause its almost 1800Kg to slow down!Bionic is not a colour for wallflowers - stands out for sure, it looks the goods.Good luck and enjoy the ride. Daytime looks a bit TOO brightIf you want fun.. Go manual.Want a quick straight liner. Go ZF.To be honest there are time's I wish I got mine as a manual. The turbo engine / auto combination is a more than the sum of its parts. This is not the usual auto vs manual arguement - this turbo engine exploits auto boxes in a different way to manuals,- this became obvious with with the previous 4 speed auto. In addition, the ZF is another type of auto box.The ZF is used in BMW, Jag, Masarati - the F6 does the implementation better than many of the models in that brand line up - again due to the turbo/auto nexus. The ZF is far, far, better than the DSG in the M3.Now that white is the new sports car colour and no longer a 'fleet colour' the F6 R-Spec in white looks impressive. I have always had manuals, but got the ZF in the F6 and have never regretted it. Bets for all driving conditions except circuit racing.Get the wife to try both, but I bet she goes for the ZF as they are one AWSOME gearbox.
