Hi guy's for all those interested I just bought an F6 Typhoon RSPEC with manual 6 speed with 35kms on it for $62100 with a towbar fitted and including all on roads costs.

I searched around for ages and that was the best price I could do and that is fleet prices as I own a company and it is for business use.

I was told by one ford dealership $57K but when I got in there they said there was luxury tax, rego, ctp, blah blah blah. and it was more than $64000.

The figure they give you doesn't mean anything until you sign on the dotted line.

Most of the prices I got a best price was over $64000 and after all it is an rspec and manual try finding one I looked at around 25 different car yards to get one I like that was manual and not black in colour.

anyway hope this helps

hey dude, it doesn't make a difference if you register it for business use, it actually costs you more (couple of hundred bucks), I don't care if the guys said it was "fleet discount" or not there is no bonus for FPV's

Well done though mate, you got a dealer with his pants down, enjoy the new car!

Fleet schmeet, call it what you like , they can still sharpen the pencil when they have to.

BTW it is not uncommon for sales people to call discounts on FPV's fleet discount when it suits them

After all the back and forth looking at Phoons and a Force6, I went totally left field today.

I was over my car, it needeed money spent on it so it had to go. I wanted an FPV but I also knew that in 6 months I wouldnt be happy with a BF once the Orion was released.

So, I bought a Bimmer. :argue:

Really really nice car and cost about what a Phoon would have. I am going to struggle with a car that runs 0-100 in 8 seconds :stirthepot: but I will get used to it.

If you guys dont mind, I will still hang around. I have made some good friends from this forum.
