mate from what I have seen it takes alot more grip to get the ute's to hook up, im running ET streets (nearly full slick, they are cross ply type tyre) and front runners and still cant launch it hard enough to get anywhere near the sedan 60fters, the utes I have seen with the radials just spin even more.

its not because I dont do a big enough burnout either, proof with aviator :blaah:

that's it, I swear its spinning for a sec

, breaking the beam and then taking off, because some of those launches are faster than what they were, find out with new full slicks and at calder

I run Dunlop DO1J's on my mini. They are intended to be a track tyre, but are the most stickiest things on the street. Not sure how they would go if used down the strip.
