You can drive with the streets on, to and from the strip, where as the slicks you will have to carry in the boot and change at the strip. Changing rims in the garage is a hell of a lot easier than in some paddock.

ah yea im not really worried about hanving to change them down at drags in at the plex in perth theres enuff tarmac in the pits.. I was just thinking more the performance side of things or will I need to do a decent size burnout for the slicks to be useful?

And dont you need front runners for full slicks?

Idd go the MT street that's what I have and use, even took out on the street one friday night was good fun.

If you want to run a CROSS PLY slick you will also need a cross ply front runner other wise you will end up sh*tting yourself half track at the speed wobbles. Get yourself a RADIAL slick so you can run radial street tyres on the front :blink:

The M/T ET street Radials are perfect for the job. Geea Ran 10's with these.

Make sure you do some major shopping around mate. I have seen them as low as $220ea lately

will do.. you dont remember were you seen them for 220ea do ya? cheers
