The less you wise it up the more of a chance you'll get away with stuff, just like with anyone else in everyday life I guess. Not saying you were being a smarta$$ in the circumstances though.I remember one night in the city in Brissie a few years ago after closing time in the early hours of the morn, I needed to have a leak and decided on a nice garden out of site around eagle st near Fridays.En route I spotted some coppers (old and young guy) nearby and rather than do the obvious and proceed in front of them into the garden I thought I'd ask where the nearest public dunnies were. They just laughed and said something like "just go in the garden there somewhere, just as long as you don't go slashing up the side of a building"Common sense prevailed and everyone was happy... except maybe the poor bugger that had to weed the garden later. My 2 cents.

How about they do something decent and get the drug dealers, drink drivers etcNo wonder no-ones likes cops, they don't seem to do much to help, only to anger the community.Don't get me wrong some cops are good people, just why do they have to bother us when they're not hurting anyone.P.S I got done tonight for not displaying my p's (I'm 5 days off having them down forever) Now when I go to pay it ill be off, so technically should I have to pay the fine? or just live with it and pay it?.Just makes me laugh.. I know its very cliche, but they are just doing their job.....direct your anger at the clowns you vote-in to run the country. I don't like them...I came out of a club one night in outer Brisbane and walked into the end of a punch up. One bloke was out of it on the ground with blood all over his face and the other being spoken to by 3 cops. I then watched the cops arrest the guy who was on the ground and put him in the back of the paddy wagon.I was pretty hammered and was sure they made a stupid mistake and arrested the wrong bloke as the other guy was walking away, so I expressed my opinion of the cops quite loudly. I didn't get aggresive or anything like that, just told 'em they were good for nothing. I was then thrown into the side of a cop car as I attempted to wrestle my way out of being handcuffed, which didn't go to well, and tried to explain that they once again had screwed up cause I'd done nothing wrong. The next morning I woke up in the watch house and was realised and given my wallet back etc... and I was given the date that I had to appear in court, yet the cop told me not to bother going cause it would lead to nothing and cost me about 10 bucks. I obviously never went. I left the cop shop and started walking in the direction my mate was coming to pick me up in. About 10 minutes later I was bailed up again, this time with lights and sirens going and taken back to the cop shop. I had no idea what was going on.Turns out I somehow became the prime suspect in a rape case that happened at the club I was at the previous night. DNA test and a few interviews later I was realised and found that while my mate was waiting he was also questionned about my actions the night before, if I had a girl, if I was aggressive towards women, my sexual tendencies - the whole lot.Anyway obviously I didn't do it, and it turns out the time it allegedly happened (which they knew straight away from the complaint) was while I was in the watch house. How hard was that for them to work out??????I was never called and told I was cleared or whatever and it took me almost a month to get my jocks and t-shirt back that they took for testing. Meanwhile I had to tell work why I was arrested and being investigated. It was some fine police work.

It was some fine police work.So you involved yourself in a situation you knew nothing about and resisted arrest but feel hard-done by? Would you appreciate a drunken idiot interfering while you’re trying to work? How do you know it wasn’t an undercover cop that was walking away from the scene? Yes I agree that it may have been uncalled for treatment, but in the end you’ve got nobody to blame but yourself.

But the events the next day were a joke. It surely cannot be hard to prove my whereabouts considering I was in the watch house
