I purchased the Auxiliary Input/Audio Prep Pack with my Premium Sound System. I think I see the connector, under the tissue box holder.

How do I connect an mp3 player to it? What connecting wire do I need? Where do I get that from, Tandy? Dick Smith?

I'm no technical guru so I can't tell u the proper name for it. But, the cable I've got looks like a walkman headphone jack on each end. So if you just plug this in the line out on our player then into the car it should work.

IIRC - The AUX input is a standard 3.5mm stereo audio jack

Thanks for your help Cam.

I saw you post at http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...t=ST&f=3&t=3519 and think I'm missing the connector for the 3.5mm cable.

I don’t know anything about this subject so forgive me ignorance…

Looking at your picture at http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...e=post&id=26092 I see just the end of the blue wire and the black ‘plug’ that is connected to the end of the blue wire. However, I don’t see the actual silver ‘jack’ with the black edging. This looks to me like where the 3.5 mm cable goes in? If I can’t see it I guess the dealer forget to install it so I’ll have to go back?

I can’t go back to the dealer until the weekend anyway but before I go I wanted to get my facts straight.
