The car has done 32,000 klm and the pipe hasn't been off before. Does this sound this sound the usual fare or should the turbo blades be totally quiet when they spin. Ball bearind turbo always rumble because of the internal clearances required in bearings that spin at a gazillion rpm. A little bit of oil in a car with a stock intake is pretty standard. XR06T Silver Donating Members 4,146 Member For: 19y 5m 4d Gender: Male Posted 17/10/07 08:56 AM Share Posted 17/10/07 08:56 AM dont think its when im driving, only sounds like grinding for the 30secs it takes to spin down after shut off. can only hear the whistle when driving.front wheel bearing noise makes it a little hard to hear too much though so I cant be 100% sure its quiet when driving.it is a little noisier when cold, but is reasonable quiet on idle once its warm.cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
