I didn't take many pics... trying to get a video editor to put up a video or two.

GREAT day! Anybody thinking of doing it definately should!

We did 7 different stations around Sandown including:

  • Braking on different surfaces (1 side tarmac, other side vynal)
  • 100-0 braking
  • getting out of an oversteer
  • an autocross/slalom type event
  • emergancy braking around a corner
  • "get around a truck 10m in front of you & then change direction to get around a granny" test - 60-70km/h
  • one more.. I cant remember!

Also got to be a passenger in a Toyota Echo that drove on 2 wheels! That was interesting!

Because the majority of people there are Skylines, with NO ABS, they were flat-spotting their tyres and spinning all over the place!

It was also a bit wet so there was a lot of sideways (AND UNDERSTEER!) fun to be had!

Very good fun indeed & I really learnt heaps about what my car can, and more importantly, can't do! :bomb:

Hi SCRIBR, sounds like you and djmicky had a good time

Try Microsoft Windows Movie Maker as a video editor - comes standard with Windows XP - look for it in your Start / All Programs menu. Its pretty good - can drag n drop video files, audio files and overlay different styles of titles. I usually then post it up on YouTube so that you can easily add it into posts on this forum.
