Just got back, I left a bit early as I got there at 5 and got 4 runs in really quickly. Nothing special from me tonight, best was a 13.6. I just don't think mine was meant to go quick.

Not sure on what other members got, I saw a few of the guys out there but we were all scattered through the lanes. Aarons white ute looks like it will put out some good times when he gets a bit of practice driving it.

13.1 @ 113mph BABY!!

That was absolutely the most fun I have had in a long time!

first run was 13.4, second was 13.8ish, third 13.4, fourth 13.1, fifth and six I stuffed hard and ran 13.7/8 all at 113-114mph

Good to see the TuneHouse boys having a nice easy day at the drags (how many bags of ice did you end up buying?) :omg:

My 19's were a little shagged before I got to the creek they are pretty much F$!#ed now.

My clutch feels great after doing 6 runs most pretty much back to back, the cruise home it felt normal.

Zoom also approached me for abit of an interview at the end of the night so hopefully my car could get a mention in that!

now need all I need is some better tires and start chasing 12's :spit:

There were some good times tonight considering it is the worst season for turbo cars; with the 6 speed autos showing the way.

Mauz from Melbourne ran an 11.0 a couple of times; very consistent driving.... the bag of ice on the plenum to keep it cool is a good idea.

Jim (F6BF) ran an 11.1 (PB, well done)

jp300 ran 11.2

dboss ran 11.3 in a customers car

I ran an 12.1 with my auto with a street tune on pulp, my first ever run in an auto just to see what it would be like, so that will only get a lot better from here. Only 2 runs tonight, and I hit the rev limiter the 2nd time.

Good to see other forum guys out there as well.

Thanks to Jim and the Tunehouse team coming out to support.

Thanks again to Mauz and gf Jodie for the big effort coming up to Sydney to participate.

Brian

Good to see a few cars turned up. The best part was running the 5 cars consecutively. Mauz, BFF6, BCL, Dboss and mine. It would have been good to watch.

We have to organise regular get togethers at WSID and get enough cars to book a dedicated lane to the XR6T's & F6's.

I had a good time, the first two runs were 11.2 and 11.3s passes at 122mph the last pass was an 11.7. I just could not get off the line as I wheelspun in every occasion. During the last run I gave it a bit too much off the line and nearly changed lanes in from of F6BF. I think that I need a fresh set of MT ET Streets. 60 foot times were not as good, 1.7s. I guess the times are comparable to the 10.8 sec pass considering that it was Winter and I was on fresher rubber on a better prepped track.

If it was winter with a better prepped track I am sure that we would have seen the 4 cars running low 11 sec passes crack the 10 second mark. That would have been a magic sight.

Mauz's car was very impressive, I was staging in the same lane after him and the car stayed nice and straight all the way down. You could realy see how firm the shifts were as the car squatted when changing gears.

I guess that concludes the first Little NSW Weekend activities. Thanks for everyone that participated.

So common Jeff, pull some of your magic strings and let's organise a monthly big night @ WSID with some of the C&V boys, we should try and get the Autotech and other shop cars to come along and I will get a few Tunehouse cars.

This would make for some fun Wicked Wednesdays @ WSID.

Let's try and put the shop alliances aside and all go out there together and have some fun.

The more the merrier!

I got there late so only got three runs in,

And could only run a best of 12.9 @ 112.68 on cold M/T's followed by a 13.0 @ 113.56 then 13.3 @ 115.15(accidently left the line in second) pretty ordinary but ok considering it was my first time ever on the track and I'd only had the ute for under 24 Hrs( I'm just glad I beat my brother in his jeep Grand Cheerokee SRT8 or I never would have lived it down).

If you guys organise a monthly night I'll definatly be keen as I think I've caught the bug already.

Cheers Aaron,

Mate, with the power your car has it should be pulling 11's easy. Once you get a bit of practice and get a better launch your times will come down. PM me your email address, I've got a vid of your run.
