Did a run to Jenolan Caves & back on the weekend after 385kms average fuel consumption came to 12.1L per 100kms which including freeway cruising, stop start traffic, spirited run through the hills and a bit of general day to day driving.

Averaging 15-16Lper 100km round the city normally with a fair bit of throttle usage:)

In my BF 'T' ZF auto im consistantly getting around 11L/100km while using 3/4 of the tank for highway driving and the rest booting it around the local streets. Im currently on 10.8L/100km and have just installed the 2nd snorkle and K&N filter so it will be interesting to see any difference.

I did a trip from the Gold Coast to Yamba over the Xmas break, round trip including aprox 40km of around town and spirited driving netted an average of 10.8 L/100km. Got back home and still had 1/4 tank left (DTE showed 120km remaining). Total distance approx 450km. I usually average around 14-14.5 around town with the odd squirt.

I drove from Melbourne to Sydney the other day and filled up at Benalla and made it to Mt Colah on the far north of Sydney and still had 8l in the tank. Car averaged 8.6l/100km and was loaded up with luggage and 2 people and a dog, had AC on for about 35% of the trip and sat on 120 all the way. Not bad for an F6 with 352rwkW. Can't complain

Stock BA MkI XR6T Manual

Mixed highway driving & city and I'm not easy on the noise pedal around town.

I consistently get 11.2L/100km average.

On a side note - what speed do you all get the best economy from? I find mt best is around 80kays, although there's not too much difference cuising at 120

I'm actually quite amazed, but after ditching the crossover, my fuel consumption has dropped dramatically!

I used to be at around 13.7L/100km mixed city highway, now I'm at 11.5!!!

the drivability is the main thing, you need half the throttle use for the same result, I can definately recommend getting rid of the factory crossover!

By the way, my car has not been re-tuned since the change
