They gave me a BF wagon to drive around in till its fixed. I drove it in to work this morning (the wagon that is) in my usual heavy footed way...and couldn't get the fuel economy to budge over 12.4 L/100Klm...Now I know the wagon's not a turbo...but even when I drive my T around like an old m*1e it still sits around the mid to high 14 L/100k mark.Is that normal? Im averaging around 380 to 400 litres per tank...pretty ordinary I reckon!!!My SV8 did slightly better than that...! Well ive always sat around the 13/L per 100, regardless of old man driving or floggings around Bathurst, it rarely moves and I always get 450K's a tank. It did improve a lil after a C&V tune but doesnt move round much. Most time when I work it out manually the actual economy is in the low 13s or high 12s. If so, does it sort itself out automatically, or does the 3000k service include changing the tune...?At times on my way into work I could swear I see the fuel guage needle working it s way down as it drops!
