Firstly, it was a $4999 tv, the other day I got it offered at harvey norman for $3999, haggled a little and got it down to $3600, then apparently it's getting even lower. Maybe I'll sit back and wait, pay the XR off, then go shopping for a new TV.. problem is, my current 3.5yr old 42" plasma has just started playing up again! Hopefully it'll last till at least christmas, that should give me plenty of time to do my research and get the best bang for buck tv.
