I say throw that idea and fit a bigger snorkel and filter from BA XR8

when I was in melbourn at the ford national apprentice training center

They had that fitted to their XR6T test Mule ....

they were using it to test the limits of the engine & turbo ,

they were running boost pressures between 12 - 26psi

so that's my opinion anyway dude ... :thumbsup:

Its exactly the same as a XR6 Turbo intake, which is bigger than the standard one, except for the Tickford logo. People with stock XR6's can fit them, cost about $30.

Hey dont shoot the messenger im just telling you what I was told.. :huh:

and I didn't bother to look at you attatchment ....

when I did I realised that we were talking about 2 different things ,

if you went my way and fitted a BA XR8 filter & piping from the filter to the

intake manifold thing .

their would be no snorkel or airbox for that matter my bad sorry dude.. :D
