hi

I had the little rubber hose from the turbo to the boost solenoid

go hard from the heat and get a little crack in it.

I fix that and all is good now

Hmmm that's a new idea... Ok I've been running 12psi for a while now but only recently started to get the noise, would this noise/actuator problem have occured over time? as in did it get weaker?

What dammage $$$$ wise am I looking at, for the actuator, and fitting?

that's a good possibility, as the actuator is a spring and can weaken, you can get stronger actuators for around $200 I think, its a good upgrade and will let you hold strong boost very stable

Hey Bloke, You hit the nail on the head,had it checked out today that's exactly what my problem is, I need to upgrade my actuator mite as well do my injectors at the same time!

id say mika's tune is like mine...12psi circa 3000rpm, tapering back to 9psi....mine makes 226rwkw

Spot on there.....

BTW my car has been custom tuned and is stock, except for 2nd CAI and sh*tty valve springs.... But that will all be fixed in due time...
