simmo Member 431 Member For: 21y 10m 22d Gender: Male Location: byron bay more underarm hair per square km Posted 06/10/07 04:46 AM Share Posted 06/10/07 04:46 AM ive had an edit for a couple of years now and it has never been right ,the car has constant drivability problems ,I have an I/c , fuel pump ,k+n filter,typhoon intake.I recently installed a high flow fuel pump after a dyno run showed massive lean out which was put down to a crook fuel pump?.since installation performance has slightly improved but again as I upgrade parts a different set of problems occur now the car goes good until 3000rpm then seems to hesitate and chug like its boost spiking,which is alot different to the usual pinging.the car is very well maintained and has new .8 gapped plugs and new fuel filter.I tell you I am coonsidering puttting the car back to standard and getting rid of it.I am constantly hearing of cars going really well edited but so far I am not convinced!! is it an edit or a tuner problem because the car seems to change how it runs quite often too??wtf.anyhelp would be appriciated. I saw your car about two years ago... nice ride.... now get the issue diagnosed before you go any furthere.... trying to diagnose over the keyboard is not the way to do it as you will just get a million different ideas.
