The chances of one of these engines letting go at such conserfative boost Is very low.It took 10 seconds to verify what I thought was the issue. Even if u dont have a hoist all u have to do is put it in gear and load it gently, The minute it gets above idle with load the noise will always go away if its the flex plate.Anyways im going to bed, I just got home from work after another 14 hour day lol

I've had my grief with both ford and Expensive Daewoo dealerships!!My T was at ford 3 seperate times for a squeaky passenger side suspension component. It started after I had some warrenty work on the other side of the car!! I was told that I have a faulty coil spring..wtf (I have lowered lovells that me and a mate put in). It came back worse everytime ford played with it and on the 3rd attempt I drove home furious and then jacked the car up sprayed WD40 around the upper strut and through the shock tower...... problem fixed and took 15 minutes. How frustrating is it... getting worked up now myself lol. You are at about the power levels I want, and when I read about your troubles I got this sinking feeling as I couldnt imagine how I would feel if the same thing happened to me.Glad to see all is good now! And more mods to come! that's got to be good! What did they end up doing with the flex plate? just tighten it up?Felix

Needed a job and almost took it but so glad now I didnt One thing I do know is they dont care how many cars they sell they want pretty much full gross in their deals... so everyone that pays that gets ripped...I think Titan Ford is where I will go when I get my Xr6T within the coming months! I'd be drafting a letter attention the Manager, informing him of how incompetent his mechanics are. What if you let them pull the engine down? I don't even want to think........ Fat-Tony Member 5,364 Member For: 18y 8m 24d Posted 10/10/07 03:14 AM Share Posted 10/10/07 03:14 AM Is that because they 'technically' don't know what they are doing?
