Granted they look good but if you put 60k into a standard GT you have a much better car for around the same price.

Edit: At least ford are doing Limited Editions, unlike the sorry lion camp.

Expensive Daewoo relies on their customers having limited brain cells instead. :spoton:

HSV have done a sh*t load more limited editions than FPV or Tickford. People pay a crap load for a limitied edition HSV and ten years down the track it is worth crap all because they put so many out and new models out perform them. Take a VT GTS 300 they were I think $90000 brand new and I know they wouldnt get that for them now.

They are not 'real' limited editions per say. The numbers made are too big and they generally aren't any different than mainstream models.

As for the VT 300, they were the biggest lemons on the road (not just because they were yellow). They were selling for $40k 2nd hand while Hilden still had new stock at $90k+. They had crap paint, lousy brakes, diff, gearbox and major engine issues. Thye loose money because they're not worth owning.

I was involved with a car show at the time and one of the HSV clubs was forming a group of owners to take their cars and block the HSV factory driveway. I think they got about ten of them together, 1 was taken there on the back of a tilt tray because it broke down on the way there.
