I just wanted a few opinions on stall converters. Yes I do want a quicker car, but how much difference does a stall converter actually make? On a day to day basis will it actually still be a "normal" car? A few people explained it as it feels like the gearbox is slipping but it actually isnt... It's either valve springs or stall converter? Which one has a better bang for buck? I worried about a stall converter because it might really detract from the cars drivability. Guest Guests Posted 04/10/07 05:41 AM Share Posted 04/10/07 05:41 AM Valve springs and a stall are like apples and oranges If you want to chase more power, and do it reliably, get valve springs so that when future upgrades come the car will handle them. If you want to get a quicker time down the strip, go with the stally. If it were me, I'd save a few more dollars and go with valve springs as well as injectors and/or cat
