What type of EBC pads did they sell you, green, red ect? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/38737-legal-advice/#findComment-580139 Share on other sites

I'd also make sure the brake lines were bled properly Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/38737-legal-advice/#findComment-580189 Share on other sites

Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 21y 1m 29d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 02/10/07 04:28 AM Share Posted 02/10/07 04:28 AM The rotors may be faulty or not installed correctly, as this is the first instance I have heard about DBA rotors. Are they the 4000 series ?The EBC pads, I think are semi comp and designed more for track days and not for daily use. You would be better to go with the Green stuff in the EBC or get some semi metalic pads as the ceramic are too hard for road use and need heat to work well.Either way I would ask them why they made the recommendation they made and ask them to justfiy their advice. jordak Member 1,226 Member For: 20y 10m 2d Posted 02/10/07 05:01 AM Share Posted 02/10/07 05:01 AM Just go straight to DBA and give them an honest account of what has transpired. Unless you have been chucking laps around Winton etc. what you have experienced should not occur although a too aggressive pad will create more heat which can result in warping of the disk. Let us know how you get on. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/38737-legal-advice/#findComment-580420 Share on other sites

Though mine took a hell of a lot longer than three weeks to materialise, and I did give it heaps. Best of luck mate.Scotty Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/38737-legal-advice/#findComment-580837 Share on other sites
