At least wait about 3000ks. Your piston rings need time to bed in and the motor itself needs a bit of time to loosen up a bit. There are many ways to run your car in according to this forum and I for one did not drive it like I stole it when I first bought it. I did take it easy for the first 3000ks and my car now is definately no slug and does not burn any oil. Just drive it however your heart tells you to.
