There is a link on this site to "5 Star Shine" in the US. Their main product is the protective polish called 5 Star Shine. They make the usual claims that it is used on the space shuttle for rentry and on US Navy aircraft carriers.

It is expensive, but they say it will last five years. Has anyone bought this stuff? Has anyone used it for re entry?

I'm a bit sceptical of their claims.

Cheers,

Scott

:dontknow:

A link on what site where though?

If it sounds too good to be true.....you know the rest. :spoton:

I originally found the link on this site somewhere ... but I can't find it now.

Here is a link so you can check it out.

I did buy some of there sunglasses and found them really good. They reckon they dismantled an eagle's eye and worked out what filters they have to give them such excellent vision. Now when I'm driving I can spot a mouse on the verge from 2km away and have this uncontrollable urge to swopp on it and pick it up with my toes.

Cheers,

Scott

I can vouch for this stuff.

its reverse engineered alien technoligy stolen from area 51.

this stuff is what the aliens use in there protien powered particle accelerators to provide a friction free path for neutrons to spin at twice the speed of light.

the protiens are extracted from the red cross who are really owned by the aliens, they use the human blood plasma to power these protien powered accelerators so as to produce anti matter that is projected in front of there space ships so as to produce an antimatter vortex slipping the space craft into a hyperspace situation.

I suspect that the aliens have infultrated the inner workings of the internet so after I post this I may never be heard of again.

When you read all the stuff, you see that its just a teflon product, same as many others.

I haven't actually tried teflon but I know a car detailer who swears by it. One issue that I have heard of (not sure if its true though) is that it can cause problems when trying to re paint etc as the panel beaters have a lot of trouble removing it.

There's another one called PERMAGUARD which claims they do space shuttles and boats and stuff, I read somewhere that it's not uncommon for the top tier Euro cars to get it as standard such as ferraris and mercs. But then, they could be bu!!sh!ting me. They quoted me ball park $800-$1000 dollars for the job and plus you might need touch-ups every year or two which is apparently "a fraction of the original price" The line they're trying to feed is 'you'll never have to wax your car again'
