sorry mate I wouldnt know but the turbo has to come off and if that includes the part and fittment that should be reasonable.

And while the turbos off I would strongly recommend getting the waste gate ported and a bigger flapper.

You can buy exchange housings to speed up the process.

This will give you a flatter boost curve and alot more control which is what you need when all is done.

thanks mate!!! very helpful advice exactly the reason I joined forum ... :biggun:

Hey all I was at my local autobling shop the other day and got talkin about my xr6t, the toss behind the counter tells me" the turbo's ford built for xr6t are crap, the cartridge in them can't handle boost if you want power out of a xr6t you need to change the turbo straight up" now im new to all this turbo stuff as of september last year, and I am not takin his word, so can someone give me some advice on safe power for turbo and internals?........................................

p.s. I think he drives a 92 civic with one of everything for under $20 from supercheap :cool1:

So have you set this tosser straight yet. The people at super cheap auto crack me up, kids fresh outa skool all pimply faced with no idea, Its dangerous. I've lost count of gone in there of a sat afternoon (coz nothing else is open) and they just look at you like a stunned mullet when u ask for the simplest of parts.
