My driver window now unwinds when I open/unlock the car. I have booked it in for repair at Knox Ford. Apparently is a known problem.

IIRC - there was a post some time ago but I could not find it

Common fault Dave, my car did it. Ask them to put an XR8/Fairmont one in (with the in built lights).

Now theres an idea... :D

Cameron.......PLEASE!!!

Had mine replace for the same problem and asked for the Fairmont switch block but was told I couldn’t have it (even offered to pay the difference) <_< . Got in the car to drive home from the service and low and behold, lights in my window switches. Best problem I’ve ever had. ;)

My car has this problem. Just started recently. Oh well, off to the dealer I go. When you guys say that you can get a Fairmont switch (illuminated) to fix the problem, is it only the drivers side or all of the switches? I hope they replace all.
