JL Slash amps have differential balanced inputs so you want get ground loop interference (alternator whine) like 99% of amps will give you. Also, they will accept high level speaker inputs from the OEM deck, so no need for a line out converter. Beware, the OEM system is noisey though... They are designed to seal with the door trim. The cutout is not round like a normal speaker, which will require a baffle to be made. Results will be average if you don't seal with the trim due to the number and size of the service holes in the mounting baffle.This last pic will give you an idea on how much work is required to seal up towards the trim.
