Most the big sports bikes are capable of running low to mid tens with the right rider on them without any traction problems, any ten second street car would be spinning wheels on the street trying to keep up with them

Yeah it was mate, you would know with your setup. I wouldn't mind lining up a few more for comparison, though the main factor our cars can have a decent go or even get ahead is the amount of torque our cars make. Off the lights yeah we all know the outcome, though on a roll on we definately have a chance. I'm pushing approx 440rwkw with mountains of torque from mid range to top end. Upto 250 clicks I think we can definately match the bigger bikes.

on the move you should leave the 250cc in your rear mirror and dont worry about the big bikes for you should be able to scare one of them on the move to. maybe not win but make them think.what th !!

Dont even waste your time with bikes off the line as it does not matter how much traction you have the bike will take you but have done quite a few high powered bikes up to 1100cc in the turbo tory in the 100 to 200kph range. I just like sitting right on their ass until they decide to pull over to allow you to pass. It does wonders for your ego.

10 sec bikes will leave the line like a bullet cause of its weight but are running lower mph down the quarter than 11 sec cars, rolling start they can be beaten.......ive embaressed quite a few

What a very timely thing to happen to me this morning.

On a private road of course, a guy on his brand new Fireblade (not a 600 - his mate was long gone) thought he might try it on. Well, I was in 4th and came from behind to sit beside him - I changed to 5th and actually left him behind. It actually surprised me by how much - I bet it shocked the site out of him!. I could see the whites of his eyes when I trundled up beside him and then smiled as I went to 5th.................... :spoton:

I didn't even have the big tune loaded..............geez I am going to miss this car. :leghump:
