no she wasn't a MILF... far from it...

and the missus was sitting next to me...

:roflmbo:

Come boys mind out of the gutter.

Silhoutte6T I agree with you here that's why I want the cash to mod the car.

I could probably even fix it myself while the bar is off when I'm fixing the cooler on.

with a plate on would you be able to see the hole??? if not, go option 3 ...

otherwise before taking option 1, maybe speak to the bro in law whose the panelbeater, might be a good honest bloke working for a reputable company who will do right by you...... 1st sign of dodginess though and I'd be calling the insurance company

Yeah good point, it shouldnt cost you too much to repair & a free cooler always makes the work worth it.

Dont forget to change the under headlight section for the cooler.

Go through insurance or you may regret it in the future.

Eventually the car will need to be fixed and as these cars are plastic, I bet there is more than just cosmetic damage.

In a perfect world for a minute...

If she has no insurance and she broke down like it sounds given there doesnt 'look' to be any real damage that 450 could be the difference between her paying the bills next month or not.....

Option 4 get a new plate and forget about it.

Sorry but the way I see it, is if you cant afford to have your car insured then you should not drive a car on the road. A car should not be aloud to be registered unless it has at least Bomb insurance.

Don't be swayed by the chicks water works, go the the insurance company, guaranteed she would be coming out with the big guns if the shoe was on the other foot.

Maybe you should take a reasonable path - offer for her to pay you $200 and everyone can be happy. Put the $200 toward whatever you want, let the poor woman have a break. Tell her the one thing you want to see is that she signs up for insurance.

I don't understand people who don't at least have 3rd party property insurance... imagine the water works if it was a little more serious and she hit a brand spanking new merc, BMW etc.. any new car for that matter. She'd be up for a lot more then a few hundred.

good luck with whatever you decide to do mate.. keep in mind, if you don't get it fixed now, you may regret it later! maybe see the panel beater, and get a new bumper fitted and she can pay it off slowly?? I don't think it's fair that you should have to compromise.. perhaps I'm just harsh though

:stupid:

You have to notify your insurer in any case, you might as well let them look after the lot. Yeah it's harsh but there's no excuse for not having at least 3rd party property like Jimmy mentioned. Her mistake, not your problem how broke she may or may not be. :pinch:
