Std is +36. Alot of 20's for the BA are +35 for a 8.5 inch wheel, however a +32 or +30 will also be fine although if it were a sedan (I.e. for rear) then you may need to roll (or lip under) the guards with a 245... but only just! +32 will be fine for the front. It's when you go for a 9.5 or 10 inch rear that you got to be wary. With a ute rear offset isn't so important even with a wide rim. If you stick to a +35 on a 9.5" rear you should be ok.

If a sedan (for others reading) and wanting a 9.5" rear I'd be aiming for a +38 (like a speedy inferno...although the front will sit in more). Even then if the car is lowered a lot you will probably need to roll the guard if running a 275 wide tyre.

So aim for a 20" with a +32 or +35 for the front (for 8.5") and a +35 to +38 rear (for 9.5 - 10") rim ... but DOUBLE check with the supplier for their recommendations.

What about 20 x 8.5/+35 Offset front and 20 x 9.5/+45 Offset rear in a ute? Will that bring the rears closer to the guard?

Will they even fit? I hope so they are the only offsets available in the rims I want.
