I notice some pink stuff coming out of this thing below.Should I be concern? Its not leaking... its dry. I took my ute for a spin and trashed it to see if it would leak, but nothing changed. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Dorko I hope it isn`t tranny fluid mixing with your coolant as this is a known problem and a reason why some people bypass the radiator for their tranny cooler.Check your overflow bottle you coolant should be green. Could be a different case if someone else has done the servicing, just hope your radiator hasn't sh*t a brick and coolant mixing with tranny fluid Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/38347-whats-this-pink-stuff/page/2/#findComment-575745 Share on other sites

Fat-Tony Member 5,364 Member For: 19y 1m 28d Posted 18/09/07 09:21 AM Share Posted 18/09/07 09:21 AM If its just the o-ring that goes around the thermostat just go to ford and get another one. 2 bolts to undo, top it up with a little coolant and presto you're done. Just make sure you don't do it while the engine is hot.
