Well today I opened up the bonnet to put some water in the windscreen thingy. I notice some pink stuff coming out of this thing below.

Should I be concern? Its not leaking... its dry. I took my ute for a spin and trashed it to see if it would leak, but nothing changed.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance Dorko :spoton:

it is leaking fit a new o ring, but if you do not want to do it again put some silicone on it as well

I'm gettin a custom in the next couple of weeks, I see if I can get Simon for Xtreme to do it. Still ok to drive it though? Or is it something I should change straight away?

That's the thermostat housing. No idea what the pink stuff is though. Sorry :spoton:

It's Definately your coolant which is leaking from the Thermostat HSNG. I had the same white spots under my raditaor a while back and Ford eventually found out that the Coolant was leaking from my Radiator. Luckily for me, They replaced this under warranty including the O ring from the Thermo HSNG and I've never had a prob since. :spoton:

did you fit the cool temp thermo?

if you did theres a good chance you buggered the O ring doing so (I stuffed it also)

just replace it, or just get Simon to when he tunes it.

Even if it does leak mate, For now just top up your reservoir tank and when your ready, take it down to Simon.............. That's what I did while awaiting my appointment with Ford. :tonguepoke:
