Hey guys and girls,

Today I brought some springs for my turbo

fronts are for AU KFFL - 57SSL

backs are BA KFFL - 68SSL

now im wondering if the fronts are ok to put in???

I have seen others who have AU springs I'm just not sure which ones that you have put in. Were they the same as the the KFFL - 57SSL that I brought??

Thanks for your help!

SSL on the front might be a tad low. Most go SL front, SSL rear when looking for a level sill. If I go Kings, I'll be going KFFL-57/520 front (~345mm HTG) and KFRL-68SL rear (~355 HTG).

I have sl fronts and ssl rears. The front is plenty low... Its all level when driving but in park the rear is just a tad higher than front... I reckon ssl fronts is gonna be too low, I scrape enough as it is with sl...

I'd agree with the others here. I have plain old KFFL-57 upfront and KFRL-68SSL on the rear and, for me, it's plenty low enough. This combo is what King Springs recommend for the 'level sill' look - they do not officially do a 57SL (or 57SSL for that matter) for the BAs - I can't remember their reasoning, but it was enough to convince me not to put in the (AU) KFFL-57SL springs up front.

Mind you, I'm not a fan of the 'dumped' look and, IMHO, the 68SSL application on the rear is getting a little close to too low for my liking - it settled a bit after a few weeks and it's now a tad lower than ideal for me (top of tyre is at least level with, if not a touch under, the guard). Front looks great. :spoton:

Be wary, when some people here say they have SL up front and SSL on the rear, I think they actually mean 'normal' on the front (the normal front and SSL rear combo that I have is marketed by King Springs as the 'Superlow' package for the BAs). Hope that helps.

I have the same as bungster and others recommended to me. It could be a "little" lower but then the problem would be that the tyres would be behind the guard, and I and a lot of others here hate this look, so I have left it as SL and SSL kingspring combo.

Thanks for the replies guys,

I will have to see if it wont make the car tooo dumpped, especially cause I am still running standard 17's, if it looks ok and I dont rub I may leave it if not, I'll get em changed.

The AU's can go in the wagon LOL

And I currently scrap on standard height in some places.... :S
