WOW! what the :fear (5):

nobody sticking up for the WA wonder-beer, micro-brewed in our very own freo port, champion of the international beer festival (correct me if I'm wrong...) 3YEARS IN A ROW!!

Little Creatues Pale Ale, heavenly amber ale in a frosted glass

any of the WA boys agree? or have any of the eastern states brothers had the pleasure??

Dan

Hey I said beez neez and its from Matilda Bay, Little Creatures is good too. Just so expensive to buy over here. Minimum of $50 for a case, and when your out your looking at 7 bucks a bottle.

Impoted Becks & Coopers pale ale would have to be my fave. Although Coopers draught home brew (the one that I make) is pretty damn good. But let's face it theres no real bad beer, except for maybe Tooheys xtra dry  :fear (5):

I'll stick my hand up for little creatures also, a bit expensive, but tasty!

Here's a question - Whats The Best Cheap Beer? For those times when the latest round of mods has you scraping around under your seat for beer change!

There is a place in Sydney that brews my fav. They also have a beer cafe somewhere there aswell.

REDOAK Honey Ale. Full strength and full of flavour. 90% of Aussie beers taste like sh*t.

Followed very closely by Mildura Honey Wheat.

Pure blonde or coopers if I have to buy local.

Redoak beer cafe...

21 Clarence st

Sydney.

HONEY ALE

Gold Medal - World Beer Cup 2006

Best in Class - AIBA 2005

Redoak's Honey Ale a pale ale which has been infused with a generous amount of Tasmanian Leatherwood Honey from the world heritage listed wilderness area on the west coast of Tasmania surrounded by the Nelson and Franklin rivers. It is a refreshing, light bodied pale ale with a delicate leatherwood and musk aroma and flavour, followed by a slight bitterness and dry mouth-feel. (5.2%)

I would have to agree with you there about aussie beers, I spent 4 years in total living in the UK and surrounding areas, and there beers are 5 times better than ours. I was a little dissapointed when I came back and had a tooheys new again, but you get used to it after a while, still the best in my opinion of the aussie beers, or carlton draught.

Im amazed how many people drink stella.
