Well I got around to purchasing a bunch of stuff from www.waxit.com.au and set myself the task of detailing the turbo. Took a few days and my arms are sore but heres what I did.

1) Wash with merguairs gold class car wash

2) dry with waffle weave towel (used it for the first time works wicked)

3) Clay bar the car using merguairs clay bar kit

4) Used Poorboys Polish and Sealant over the entire car with foam pads and removed with microfibre (even did the tail lights, headlights and glass.. makes them like new again)

Let the sealant cure for 24 hours...

5) Used DP's Max Wax on the painted surfaces using new foam pads and removed with microfibre (wax went on so easy and removes easier than polish, good product).

The end result.. is one hell of a shiny car that feels smooth and water just runs off like you wouldnt believe :) In the direct sun the metalic flake in the paint is so much more obvious now. Unfortunately it never turns out as brilliant as a darker colour would, but its still a great improvement.

And cos I like taking photos heres the end result.
