I tried to remove the cover of the shifter last night and this is the result. It snapped in half. I have bought a new one but just want someone to tell me how to remove it when the new one comes without breaking it any more. Any help would be greatly appreciated.ThanksBrendan

Posted 10/09/07 10:06 AM Share Posted 10/09/07 10:06 AM From memory I also think u simply unscrew that front screw of the "shifter housing" which holds it altogether and it should come off quite easily. I replaced mine a while ago with a chrome shifter housing and didn't come across any issues at all. cheers,San.
