Hi all... Been reading abit in the mods... Curious as to why figures vary so much with various mods... As there are no specification on the type of Dyno figures are obtained (ie type of Dyno... Calibration of Dyno... Ambient temp... Number of runs when figures are obtained...) anyone any thoughts?

IMO, do the following in one hit:

Fuel pump - drop in total replacement pump and swirl pot kits are now an easy install.

Injectors - 1000's are now the benchmark but there are others (smaller) of course

Intercooler ( a good brand )

Cat and dump (will be debate on this as well.)

12lb actuator.

Depending on the car and the tuner you will get ~300rwkw - which can be adjusted back to suit your needs. I know some get the "300" with the F6 cooler but I could not.

However - for a bux down list, a simple touch up and tune with just 440cc injectors and a fuel pump will see you gain an easy 40 KW at the engine. Opinions vary on the need for a fuel pump but for no more than ~ 500 dollars for a drop in kit it is a real good idea. Fuel starvation and aged fuel delivery components in these engines is a guaranteed formula for a blow up.

Update.

Car has been retuned and now has nizpro 4 inch exhaust and nizpro big cooler.

Made just under 400rwkw on 98 at 18PSI. (stock turbo with turbine housing mods). Due the high compression pistons in the motor no more boost or timing could be used, BUT a switch to E85 should see close to 500rwkw.

Or possibly a switch to the new nizpro turbo and see what we get.
