Whats the reason for this? If I go down the track of valve springs, would it be benefical doing the cam at the same time to reduce labour costs??P.S. XR06T Silver Donating Members 4,146 Member For: 19y 7m 14d Gender: Male Posted 11/09/07 03:39 AM Share Posted 11/09/07 03:39 AM the stock dump is 3" so its not worth replacing it with another of the same size. aps dont change the dump in their kits iirc, and there are cars running over 400rwkw with the stocker.the stock valve springs are too soft and you can get valve float. with a high flow cat sometimes you can get by without changing them.its not really necessary to change the cam, ppl are running over 500rwkw with the stock cam im pretty sure. sounds mean as with one but! Cool, many people have suggested that the stock exhaust flows enough and only to replace the cat with a high flow.
