Ive been reading many posts and come up with the following mods...

Injectors

Fuel Pump

3" Dump Pipe and High Flow Cat - stock exhaust remains stock

Replacement FMIC

Custom Tune

Ive seen many people recommending new valve springs... Whats the reason for this? If I go down the track of valve springs, would it be benefical doing the cam at the same time to reduce labour costs??

P.S. I got an auto, and looking at having the gear changes shortened.

the stock dump is 3" so its not worth replacing it with another of the same size. aps dont change the dump in their kits iirc, and there are cars running over 400rwkw with the stocker.

the stock valve springs are too soft and you can get valve float. with a high flow cat sometimes you can get by without changing them.

its not really necessary to change the cam, ppl are running over 500rwkw with the stock cam im pretty sure. sounds mean as with one but!

Ah ok! I didnt realise the stock dump pipe was 3 inch. Cool, many people have suggested that the stock exhaust flows enough and only to replace the cat with a high flow. Is this good advise?

So I can look at replacing the valve springs and leaving the dump pipe stock, and with the above mods should be happy! :roflmbo:

in a sedan I would not do the intank pump, Put a surge tank and pump in and leave the factory intank pump... you will get mad fuel surge at about 300rwkw so you might as well do it propperly the first time... it will end up saving you money in the long run... utes dont seem to suffer the same problem as much but it is still something to consider.

Yes good advise... a surge tank and 044 is much safer than just a Walbro intake

just from what others have done it seems not to be as big an issue in the utes because the tank is different... personaly if it was my choice I would choose the surge over an intank just to stay on the safe side.
