Stock T and XR8 are real similar in performance. ie: aprox 14 sec qtr.

Would think a Typhoon and modded 10psi T about lineball.

My T as below with the 4 spd SSS, 12.98 with Custom Tune and nothing else.

Any Edited T will kill a stock XR8. And gets better mileage when not thrashed!

Also the T handles better as its lighter.

Not sure about generic tunes but when my car just had a custom tuned edit it was pretty much even with my brothers typhoon when it was stock. If anything mine was slightly faster.

In a single run it will be line ball.

But the T will fall off power quicker in multiple runs due to the smaller cooler.

The edited T will piss all over the standard XR8, and judging by past dyno results of generically tuned XR6T's and standard Typhoons, I'd say they would be neck and neck with an advantage to the XR6T if the car responded well to the Generic Tune.

I.E. I got 333rwhp on 8psi Generic tune, whereas a stock tune in a Typhoon posted elsewhere on this site had 302rwhp.

A stock healthy Phoon should put out about 235ish RWKW, Ts with a generic 10psi tune on average are about 245kw. not much in it really.

Custom tune different story.
