I filled it up after, so will wait to see if it does it again.. although there was prob only 1/8th of a tank left. I never had any issues with the standard pump with my capa generic 8psi tune.. even with 1/4 tank..and I know for sure the pump is on the bottom, we made sure of that. Posted 10/09/07 12:04 AM Share Posted 10/09/07 12:04 AM Juddy Juddy Juddy I have done this on a sedan a few times now, and only use Gates submersible hose!!!I picked it up for him on friday arvo, aswell as the GSS 341 from petroject, and it had a full fitting kit with it. The only thing I can think of, is that maybe the fuel pickup is facing a different way, and at WOT it's being starved, but we will wait and see, cos getting that tub off is a PITA!!! TornadoJudd Donating Members 818 Member For: 18y 11m 16d Posted 10/09/07 12:09 AM Share Posted 10/09/07 12:09 AM did you use the original filter or the filter supplied with the pump. How much did you pay for the pump? I knew you wouldnt have used normal fuel hose your alot smarter than that.

Posted 10/09/07 12:17 AM Share Posted 10/09/07 12:17 AM It took 25 mins to get the tub off, and cos we were being ultra careful with the sender and float, it took us almost an hour to seperate the swirlpot! Now that we know you need to use brute force, it can be done in 5 minutes, carefully still. And we used the filter that came with the pump. The factory one is to big, and it is always covered in crap. I tried cleaning mine and a whole can of carbie cleaner later, it was still dripping black. It's amazing how dirty our top dollar fuels are!
