It first came to my attention when they put an FBT amount of over 8k on my Group Certificate for the Falcon S/W that I was garaging at home (on call 24/7). Although I wasn't expected to pay the FBT it totally wiped out our Child Care Rebate and Family Allowance. So after much research I changed to a Rodeo Dual cab and then a couple of Falcon XLS Utes = No FBT payable.I then found out that I could also Salary Package a car for personal use and wipe out the FBT liability by Making an After Tax Contribution to running costs,(fuel, Servicing etc) if this exceeds the FBT base value (11% of purchase price if over 25000klm p/a) then no Fbt is payable and Bazza is one happy camper.Cheers, Bazza.
