Youll have to ask one of the FG typhoon boys if the fg's come with a second snorkel. If so then yeah you could source one out and do it. Maybe even one of these BF seondary snorkels might fit? Not sure where/what the fg airbox is like but check if theres room in front of it/under the headlight to fit one of these puppies in.

Hi guys, im a new here.

Was wondering if you would recommend going for the typhoon snorkel on my 03 BA, or going for a cold air intake replacement like this one I found: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...E:X:RTQ:AU:1123

Sorry if ebay links are not allowed.

Thanks!

Thanks PHANTMXR6. I am just a bit nervous with cutting into the airbox. Although with the great instructions, advice and performance differences, I am very keen on this.

I will be upgrading to a BF XR6T from my 03 BA n/a over the next month or so. Would anyone know if the airbox from a BA n/a is identical to the BF XR6T airbox?

If they're not identical they will be very very close.

If you're concerned about the instructions being for a BA instead of a BF don't worry about it.

Besides, your cutting into the unfiltered side of the air supply, and they aren't that expensive to replace if you balls it up.

Give it a whirl. :stirthepot:

Cheers again PHANTMXR6! Unfortunately I dont seem to have any hand held cutting tools I could use on the airbox.

Would Bunnings or another place cut these measurements for me? For a reasonable price oforse. :B):

Sorry again for the noobish questions lol.:3gears::blink:
