Have just brought a BA xr6 turbo ute and the mods have already started!2nd Typhoon CAI and K & N air filterJust purchased a Flash Tuner from KPM motorsport with 3 generic tunes.Is this a good start?Now I'm wanting to know what spark plugs and thermostat I should get? I know the plugs need to be gapped at .8 so do the BA's use iridiums?And should I stick with the engine oil that's in the handbook? Thanks for the help. Guest newl Guests Posted 05/09/07 03:15 AM Share Posted 05/09/07 03:15 AM The thermostat should be changed because the generic tunes that are being supplied with the boxes from KPM (I'm presuming that they're the CAPA generics) are expecting the lower temperature thermostat.
