Well today we did 550kms in a long round trip to and from Canberra, the new clutch feels strong, and the engine didn't miss a beat all day, temp stayed constant, oil pressure solid and boost holds strong (only 6psi tune) I got the PBR upgrade kit for the brakes, they are nice and bed in now too, just have to get the suspension sorted then dump, cat, re-tune @ CV and I'll be swimming in the 300 club!As the for the reason for the mods, I wanted to strengthen the engine before it let go, its cheaper to rebuild internals rather than buy a complete short motor! As an update for the total cost of modifications to my car I've probably racked up over $8000 so far, not just the engine, but all over - I've gotta stop! But I can't...
