I am a looking at buying a 2nd Hand BF Mark II XR6T Auto sedan, looking at something lower then 15,000Km’s?What kind of dollars should I be paying for one..Should I go to the dealer and do a trade or go the Auctions, then privately sell my Scooby?I saw one on car sales for $38K which has only 6500Km’s on the clock, is that way to high or an ok price? (please keep in mind that I would prob get the price down 10% from $38k)Cheers, M@ Edited 04/09/07 09:03 AM by Wreckless

Not a bad thing, but there won't be heaps on the market so colour and options will be limited. Only 11 dealer cars on Carsales, and are you prepared to travel interstate for the right car? If not, you may be limited to 2 or 3 in your state/city.Only 3 private on Carsales - 2 manual and 1 auto with 48,000 klms!Should I go to the dealer and do a trade or go the Auctions, then privately sell my Scooby? As per above, I doubt you'll get one at the auctions yet. And as for trade, expect the worst. Selling privately will always get you a higher price, but it may not be worththe greif of advertising, roadie, test drives, offers, etc, etc.I saw one on car sales for $38K which has only 6500Km’s on the clock, is that way to high or an ok price? (please keep in mind that I would prob get the price down 10% from $38k)$38K - depends on build (06 or 07), options and auto or manual. That said, it is fairly good price. You seem certain on the 10% - I would be very surprised if you pick up a BF Mk II with auto and 6,500 klms for $34,200. Cheapest on Carsales is an 06 with 13,000 klms for $34,990 plus orc (stamps alone is $700).Best of luck.CheersDan

Demo with 5000ksThey were $34,888 + ORC new at one stage (06 runouts) so even at the price I paid I felt I did well, but not that well.
