Hi fellow members. I desperately need your help.

I am having problems "converting" my partner to the FORD camp. She absolutely despises fords saying they are absolute sh*t. I have to agree with her, Ford doesn't have a great reputation prior to the BA-BF.

I really want to buy this car and for her to enjoy it too considering she will be driving it the most.

How can I convince her that performance fords aren't always driven by morons and bogans and that the BA-BF is actually a decent car?

I feel that if I fail in this task, the likelyhood of us buying a XR6 Turbo are extreemely slim :(

If only she wasn't so picky with her cars damn it....

The only way to convince her is to go down to a car yard and take her for a drive, if you can pull off doing this at a new car dealership, all the better, trust me I sell the damn things! Everyone who isn't a Ford fan thinks "its just a Falcon, whats so great about that" then I take em for a drive, or I take the Expensive Daewoo fans for a drive in mine, and explain that for ten grand less than a new R8 or fifteeen grand less than a GTS this thing can flog the crap out of em all day!

Well...good news. The mrs gave the go ahead

Now I just need to sell my car and wait for the "End Of Financial Year" sale to arrive. Pick up a nice low km 2004/2005 XR6 Turbo Manual for under $25,000 hopefully.
