Alright boys, I read through the spill, I want to do the mod. Can somebody please post a pic of one done.

Also the majority of this post talks about Manuals, do the Auto boys stand to benefit from this mod??

I have had no BOV for the last 3 months, and I love it.

I used an 8mm metel thread, and wedged that in the little silicone hose, and the trusty (what did I start here!) 1" chair tips to block her all up.

Yeah and they both don't have products to push so whats the go?? Yay or Nay?????

Remember Ford recommend that you don't modify your car either to save themself on warranty claims. I would say there would be a similar motive behind Garrett recommending BOV's. Anything that reduces wear and tear on a turbo reduces their warranty claims...

Just a thought

Remember the std bosch valve is reverse vented so on std boost I doubt it will open as boost is acting on the side of the valve and not from underneath as on a conventional valve. I have tested this on std boost and put a pod filter on and it dosed like hell. Having said this I wouldn't want to be driving around with the BOV on and the vac lines closed off though as there is a chance that you may leak boost as the valve sits flush and doesn't overlap... if you check inside the valve one will see what I mean. Cheers.

Right you are brendan...im gettin confused with my Vee Port. Im going to remove that as the Nizpro kit was waaaay more responsive with out it. I have noticed that the lag has increased since i lowered the diff ratio so hopefully no bov will = less lag. (two bad about the sound of a flock of turkeys having an orgy everytime you change gears tho..... :spoton: )
