Hi Guys,

For two years I have been running the standard bov to the atmosphere and on the weekend I decided to remove it all together.

THIS WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID.

The sound is great, the outside engine noise on idle has dropped but the best thing is the throttle respose when accellerating and when changing gears is far more responsive.

I recommend it to anyone.

BTW I used two 1" rubber hose caps for auto1. Worked a treat.

Cheers

Adrian

Please keep this debate civil as it is just as volitile as the max rwkw on stock injectors debate.

im very interested in improving lag between gear changes myself, keen to hear more on this subject as im unsure whether to add a second BOV or get rid of it completely...

im wondering whether the air going back thru the turbo when the throttle closes with no BOV slows the turbo shaft speed more or less, than if it were released rapidly thru bigger/more BOV`s?

The comment was not directed at anyone, just a general warning that these threads are VERY debatable and there never is a right answer.
