I found my Karchnier pressure washer did not work well by sucking from a bucket.

I got a 40lt bin and put a threded click on hose attachment on it. I have found I can wash the whole car with 20lt and the water pressure makes the pressure washer work almost as good as on mains pressure.

my brother is in the irrigation industry and his boss said to get around restrictions you run your hose into a watertank and then just run a pump of that as there is no restriction on filling tanks

dont know if that applies these days as im not up to date on restrictions

Tanks water when I can be bothered.

Hose with a trigger nozzle when I'm lazy.

For those with pressure cleaners and buckets, Karcher have models that can suck from buckets, or they have an attachment module that you can connect to allow the unit to suck from a bucket.
