Hey Senna,

This is a project car being built by Tony Rigoli Performance (TRP), dubbed the TRP Taxi. Their heritage is in Fiats, WRXs and VL commodores. They currently have a strong stable with a number of big times coming out of Supernats, their WRX running 7.6, the VL running 8.1. Another corolla of theirs ran 8.5. The guys have been friends of mine for some time, and were interested in helping me with a one-off falcon project purely bent with a drag racing application. The car will be a street car for atleast another year while I finish my lease off. In that time we will run some numbers. Most of the testig will be done at Heathcote Park to start with as I am not caging it straight up. It will come though, as my aim is to make it a more focussed drag car once it comes off the road.

Ads, I am hoping to shake things up a bit in drag scene and raise the bar a bit more. The build has taken a fair while, as we have taken alot of care with making some specific components fit and work. There have been a number of bigger build ups over the past few years which havent quite achieved the goals they were hoping for I think, so I wanna make sure this gets me what Im after! I cant wait to unveil it over the next month.

Mate - Leigh from Extreme turbo manifolds has a dummy engine which he makes them off. If you are after something specific, it is well worth heading over to see him and he can measure up what yo want. Otherwise you can just get him to make it up and send it to you.
