My very first car was a (gasp) LJ Torana with a 1300 in it, but I was only 14 so that doesnt count.

When I got my L plates I bought a 77 XC GS Rally Pack with a 302 & C4. I spent a bomb on it only to watch it rust away before my very eyes. :titwave:

Brock VC HDT white #053. I sold it to my cousin and he still has it. My second Ford was a BF MK11 GT and the reason I purchased it was it reminded me so much of my first car. Obviously the Ford was the better ride of the two. My cousin will be pissed as the FG ute on order will be the 4th Ford purchased by a Expensive Daewoo fan.

back in the late 70s there was a ford shift worker who had a GTR torana and used to park it in the same spot every day, all them cars had the same key so we would put petrol in it and drive it around after school then pop it back in the same spot. Did this for over a year, until they put security cameras in the ford factory car park.

First car:

1964 ms55 toyota crown with bathhurst 327 c.I. 9 inch, centre lines, and pro stocked.

14.6 second 1/4 at calder park mid 80s. Got chased by flouro yellow xD police interceptor (351ci candy Car) for 40 klm along calder hwy. I was way in front but pulled over and waited, copper gave me a flogging and charged me at 80klm over limit on "P" plates. 6 months Disqualifacation.

The moral of the story is.... Don't stop.

That VC would be quite valuable today, is it in good condition these days?

My first car was a HK Belmont with 3 on the tree and a 161ci motor. I done heaps of kays in that thing but like many of us and our first cars it came to an end with a crunch!

Baby Blue Datsun 120y... 4 on the floor and perfect for rallying...

a "mate" stole it, jumped a railway line with it and put it thru a huge mother of a road sign.

... popped every tire and crushed the front end...

10 years later and I've still got the badges!!

I had two first cars (got them both at the same time).

1977 Alfa Romeo GTV (wasn't a GTV6 though  )

and a

1991 Subaru Liberty.

I brought the Liberty off my parents and Dad gave me the GTV at the same time - was a excellent car to drive, could send it around just about any corner at any speed.
